Craft Supplies
Craft supplies come in all shapes, sizes,
and forms. You can find good craft supplies just by looking
around your house. You can also purchase craft supplies for
kids at craft supplies stores such as Michaels and Hobby Lobby.
Arts and crafts especially for kids are becoming more and more
popular. Crafts are fun and kids always enjoy crafts. Having a
variety of craft supplies makes crafts for kids more enjoyable
for both kids and adults supervising.

Here are some examples of basic craft
supplies. Some craft supplies are easy to find and you often
have them already in your own home. If you don't have the craft
supplies you want, maybe your friends and neighbors are
throwing away scraps that would be great to add to your art and
craft supplies collection.
Paint: many
great craft projects for kids use paint. Paint craft
supplies can be any types of paint but the more permanent the
paint, the longer lasting the craft project is. For
example, water color may be good for painting but if you want
to keep those painted crafts, then water color may not do the
trick.
Paper, scissors, glue, and
tape: stationary is very important part of craft
supplies.

All arts and
crafts stores sell a large selection of paper
of different texture, sizes, and color. There
are many great crafts that use paper primarily.
Paper craft projects can be very decorative and
good as gifts. Scissors, glue, tape, and other
stationary are often needed to make a craft
project happen.

Scrap materials: any scrap
materials such as those from old clothes that you no longer use
or torn up clothes are great craft supplies. You can use a
mixture of different colored materials to make a quilt or for
other decoration purposes. We will discuss how to use scrap
materials for your craft projects in other sections.
